Nextfriend.ai — Return & Refund Policy

1. Devices (Skeletons, Pumpkins, and Other Hardware)

  • Return window: You may return unopened and unused devices within 30 days of delivery for a full refund (excluding shipping).

  • Condition: Returned items must be in original packaging, with all accessories, manuals, and components.

  • Opened/used devices: If opened, devices must be in “like new” condition. A 15% restocking fee may apply.

  • Defective items: If your device arrives damaged or develops a manufacturer defect within 30 days, we will replace it at no cost or provide a full refund. After 30 days, coverage continues under our Limited Warranty (see warranty policy).

  • Exclusions: No returns for damage caused by misuse, modification, accidents, or failure to follow instructions.


2. Credits (Digital Purchases)

  • Non-refundable: Credit packs (seconds/minutes of AI interaction) are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.

  • Usage: Credits are consumed per second of device speech and may not be exchanged back for cash value.

  • Errors: If credits fail to load to your account after purchase, contact support within 7 days of the transaction. We will verify and correct the balance.


3. Bundled Products / Promotions

  • If you purchased a device with included credits, returning the device will result in deduction of the retail value of any consumed credits before issuing a refund.

  • Promotional/free credits included in bundles are not refundable.


4. How to Request a Return

  1. Email support@nextfriend.ai with your order number, reason for return, and photos (if defective).

  2. We’ll provide a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) and shipping instructions.

  3. You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect.

  4. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days after inspection.


5. International Orders

  • Customers outside the U.S. are responsible for return shipping, duties, and taxes.

  • Refunds are processed in USD; currency conversion fees may apply.


6. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

  • Custom or limited-edition devices.

  • Used credits or digital-only purchases.

  • Items returned without authorization.
